Thornless Blackberry

Sweet, dark blackberries just picked from the garden are a natural and healthy treat. They also may be enjoyed on ice cream, yogurt, smoothies, or made into pies and jams.

Planting Instructions:
Dig a 1 ft x 1 ft hole. For multiple planting, space each plant 2–3 ft apart.
Place plant in hole, cover with soil, lightly compact soil around roots.
Water in deeply. Keep soil moist until green shoots appear, then 1–2 times per week.
Use balanced (10-10-10) fertilizer when new growth appears.
Consult your local cooperative extension or the web for pruning procedures.
Support your vine with a strong trellis, if required.
