ZZ plants are easy to care for. Thick glossy green leaves, fleshy stems and underground tubers all hold water, allowing the plant to survive for months without water. They thrive in any situation – from low to bright indoor light. Native to east Africa and the island of Zanzibar.

Water: Water thoroughly when planting mix is dry to the touch.  Allow planting mix to dry between watering.
Light: Bright indirect light indoors to full sun outside in tropical climates.
Continuing Care: Suitable for the home or office, extremely long lived
Temperature: Performs well at average indoor temperatures.
Fertilizer: Liquid general purpose fertilizer at half rate every other month
USDA Zones: 9-10
