Sago Palms are one of the world’s ancient plants—fossil evidence shows they were alive at the time of the dinosaurs and has changed very little since then. Sago Palms can last decades, are very adaptable to a wide range of environments, and are slow growing. Native to Japan.

Water: Maintain planting mix on dry side.
Light: Bright indirect light indoors to full sun outdoors.
Continuing Care: Extremely long-lived plant.  Transplant when no new growth is occurring in well drained soil
Temperature: Performs well at average indoor temperatures.
Fertilizer: Liquid general purpose fertilizer at half rate every other month
USDA Zones: 9-10
