Ferns were the first plants to inhabit the earth. Their origins can be traced back 350 million years.  The Fern is native to the tropics.

Water: Keep planting mix moist.
Light: Place in bright indirect sunlight indoors.
Temperature: Performs well at an average indoor temperature. Avoid hot or cold drafts.
Continuing Care: Ferns enjoy high levels of humidity. To increase humidity mist regularly with warm water and place plant on tray of moist pebbles – be sure the pot is sitting on the gravel and not in the water.  An ideal plant for a hanging basket.
Fertilizer: Use a general household liquid fertilizer at half the recommended rate every month.
