Desert Rose

A succulent native to Eastern Africa. Its large wavy leaves turn deep maroon quickly in full sun, and will stay green indoors.

Water: Keep planting mix on the dry side.
Light: Place in bright indirect sunlight indoors.
Temperature: Performs well at average indoor temperature.
Continuing Care: Leaves will turn maroon in the sun and revert to all green indoors. Can be transplanted to a larger pot where it will begin to branch out.
Fertilizer: Liquid fertilizer half the label rate every other month.
USDA Zones: 10-11
