Poinsettias arrive next week!
Yes, that's right! There's only a little more than a week until our poinsettias start arriving on the store floor. The expected delivery date for the 6" pots is November 2nd, though later in the week is possible if there are delays. Again we strongly encourage our customers to pre-order poinsettias you will need this holiday season. We will not have much flexibility for last minute orders this year, and if problems arise then placing an order early will give us time to notify you so you can make alternate arrangements. Here are some broad tips to help with the ordering process:
- More advanced notice is better; orders placed hours before pickup probably won't be filled!
- If you have specific needs, be detailed. Do you want mylar on them, in boxes or not, etc.
- Avoid placing the same order with multiple sales reps. It may be necessary for your order to be handed off to a different person than you spoke to, but doing so yourself will cause confusion.
- If you will not be able to make the scheduled pick up date, please let us know. Poinsettias don't keep well in boxes and sleeves, so we need to know if the plants will be waiting for days.
- Get the name of the person that took your order!
We deal with the problems these points cause all the time, so we can fix it if everything goes wrong! However, we want to you have the smoothest possible experience this holiday season, because who needs more stress? These are just the most common pitfalls we've encountered over the years, and experience has shown they can be avoided!
